Our Deaf Led team understands the importance of Deaf culture and knows from personal experience the issues faced by Deaf people and the best advice and support to overcome these. Deaf Awareness Training
This Practical exercise-based session raisies awareness of Deaf Culture and the barriers Deaf people face. Our experienced trainer is a Deaf sign language user offering informed knowledge and lived experience to enrich the learning.
We offer a half day or full day session, working in small groups and pairs, delegates use humour-based exercises to discuss access issues. Course includes a brief introduction to British Sign Language within the afternoon session.
Basic British Sign Language (BSL) Workshop
We can offer a short workshop in learning basic British Sign Language signs. This learning empowers individuals and staff to feel confident when communicating with a Deaf employee or customer.
